Well I finally found out that I got the officer position at work!! It is the desk officer position, I was hoping for the patrol position, but I think my computer background really pushed them to putting me in the desk position to start with. So I will start in the station most of the time, and eventually with move over to patrol. I am going to the academy in January or February! I am really excited. I am starting some training a couple of weeks this month, and then in September I will move onto mostly desk officer positions aside from going on calls since I won't have gone to the academy yet.

We are also getting our keys this afternoon, so we will be moving some stuff later today. Our washer and dryer came in so we are starting with that first! I can't wait to have it all set up!! So over all the last few days have been pretty significant, and really exciting!!

I went to see cars...what a great show!! I can't wait until it comes out on DVD!!

Well, we went yesterday and actually looked at the apartment that we are getting. I am really excited and can't wait to move. On the plus side, they are supposed to call us and let us know for sure when we can get the key, we may be able to get it a few days early since we are just transfering. That would be GREAT!! We have packed the majority of the things that we don't need, and have started somewhat packing the things we may need and are just leaving those boxes open.

We also bought a washer and dryer!! We didn't expect to do that yet, but we went to look at them, and decided eh, what the heck, might as well just get them now and be done with it. So yay for that, they are supposed to come in in the next few days, and since Mike works at Lowe's we are just leaving it at the store until we move, no point it movin it twice right?? On top of that since Wisconsin is a 'gas state' we had to special order them (because our new place needs electric but everyplace has all gas in stock), so with Mike's discount we saved a couple hundred dollars! Anyways, they are both front loaders and stackable (which won't matter in this place but might once we get a house). We also figured out that we can decorate the new place however we want, meaning we can paint the walls if we want, which could be a fun project at some point, but we don't know yet.

Oh yea, as you can pry tell, Gunnar finally buzzed his head. Something he has always said he was NEVER gonna do, it looks good. I guess dad tried to get him to keep the mohawk, but he wouldn't. What a weirdo, how many little boys wanted mohawks when they were little but their parents wouldn't let them?? I would imagine a lot of them did, but not him. Anyways, thats all for now.

Well I have not updated in a long time, but I am planning on starting again. So, you can start checking back again because I know everyone has been just dying for more updates… 8-)

Well I am moving at the end of the month, I can’t wait to have a bigger place. We are moving into a 2 bedroom townhouse. It will be so nice, we will have a washer and dryer, which is GREAT!! I am also excited about having two floors, plus the garage, balcony, patio….YAY!!

Gunnar is coming to visit at the end of the month and he will be here for about a month. I am excited about that, we are gonna go to Six Flags, the zoo, pry the children’s museum, and possibly a water park or two, we’ll see. Mostly, I’m sure that we will be playing video games a lot.

Work has been going pretty well lately. I applied for an officer position, I am still waiting to hear for sure, but I’m pretty sure that I got it, hopefully I will hear by the end of the week for sure.

Since I haven’t been on lately, I figured I won’t type too much, but I have post some pics that I said I would post a long time ago, and I will update more in a day or two, so check back soon!!! Also we got another kitten, he is all black and his name is Reaper!
